The situation at the border with russia remains difficult. In addition to daily shelling, the enemy is attempting invasion by sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

Border guards are observing the most activity of the saboteurs in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions however the threat from saboteurs remains in the Chernihiv region.

Border guards exposed such a group in the Sumy region. After coordinated actions of border guards and territorial defense forces, including artillery fire, saboteurs were pushed beyond the state border line.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine in particular the SBGSU and the AFU units are acting together to counteract the hostile sabotage and reconnaissance groups effectively.

Additionally, the units defending the section of the border with the aggressor country are conducting joint training. According to counteract the sabotage and reconnaissance groups the Defense Forces of Ukraine are using counter saboteur reserves. The Defense Forces also are using engineering obstacles, means of control and observation, and aerial reconnaissance.
